Many people carry the effects of trauma and stress in their body - muscle tension, fatigue, racing thoughts, sleep disturbance, or feeling disconnected.
Through Somatic Experiencing (body-based therapy) we harness the wisdom of your body to help settle your nervous system, allowing your body to release old traumas and tension.
Through Timeline Therapy, Neurolinguistic Programming and Hypnosis we release stuck emotions, and limiting beliefs allowing your mind to rediscover calm with a renewed view of your world.
True healing happens when your mind and body begin to work together again.
This integration of body and mind allows you to feel more present, resilient and alive.


Trauma can be any event that is too big, too fast and too soon for our nervous system. And if our nervous system's natural defences against threat are not able to protect us, the trauma can become stored in the body leading to anxiety, chronic tension, emotional overwhelm, numbness, disconnection, sleep disturbance or physical symptoms with no clear medical cause.
Somatic Experiencing works with the wisdom of the body to help the nervous system return to balance.

Anxiety is a natural human response—it’s our body’s built-in alarm system, designed to keep us safe. But when that alarm stays on too often or too loudly, it can start to interfere with daily life. You might notice constant worry, racing thoughts, muscle tension, or trouble sleeping. Some people feel anxiety mostly in their minds, while others experience it as physical sensations like a tight chest, upset stomach, or restlessness
Therapy will focus on working with your nervous system to calm the body's stress response and with releasing beliefs that no longer serve you.
It is possible to feel calmer, safer, more confident, and resilient.

Relationship counselling is not just limited to intimate relationships - it can benefit work/business relationships, family relationships, and friendships. Therapy can help you recognize unhealthy relationship patterns, learn how you can change your interactions in the relationship, improve your communication, or even help you exit a relationship that is not serving you.

Our self esteem is greatly impacted by our family of origin and childhood experiences, past traumas or abuse, our experiences in relationships and our successes and failures. As we navigate the rugged terrain of life, we internalize beliefs about ourselves. Often these beliefs create and maintain our low self-esteem. Therapy helps to uncover those beliefs, eliminate those that don't serve us and install new beliefs that pave the way to self-love.
Therapy offers a safe compassionate, non-judgmental space where we slow down, build awareness and allow healing to happen. You will gain tools to regulate your nervous system, reduce reactivity and build resilience. You will release old negative emotions that have been stuffed down and you will release beliefs that no longer serve you and internalize new beliefs that serve you better.
This practice is PHIPA compliant. All counselling is confidential. There are some legal limits to confidentiality and these will be clearly outlined in the initial session.
